Okay, so I’m putting 4 units on Philly -5.5 first half at DraftKings (odds -134). I feel like they should be able to grab an early edge — fingers crossed I’m not jinxing it — because they tend to set the tone early and this number gives them some cushion if the other team hits a few early shots. The 5.5 first-half spread implies Philly needs to come out aggressive and control the opening possessions to build a safe lead; that’s exactly the kind of start I’m hoping for here, nervously optimistic but committed.
